Me joining the tribe has been a relief, really. I’d not expect to find a company where you can be your 100% crazy self and even being appreciated for it. Being encouraged to create your own role, being challenged without feeling a constant feeling of pressure. GT has really been a smooth mixture between setting the bars high and keeping the fun in doing so.
What surprised me during the first weeks was how ambition and performance go hand in hand with kindness and support. I felt encouraged, and was given the space to catch up, calibrate to this environment. Onboarding was smooth and comprehensive enough to give me a perspective on where things are going. The quick chat on the phone
We’ll set up a 20-30 minute phone call with you to find out a little bit more about you. We’ll ask you questions about your goals and ambitions, why you applied for the role, and what you like to do in your spare time.
You can ask us any questions you might have about the company culture or the hiring process.
The face to face interview
In recent times, this stage is usually done as a video call. Your future manager (or someone you’ll be working closely with) will lead the interview and they’ll ask you more detailed and technical questions about the role and your capabilities. You can use this interview to build on what you learnt during the phone call and ask questions about the role or the team you’d be working with..
The challenge round
We’re a data-driven company and we practise what we preach. That’s why we’ll ask you to complete a challenge, solve a problem, or perform an assignment to show us what you can do. Sometimes this might be in the form of a presentation or a proposal, but it really depends on the role you apply for. Don’t worry, we’ll give you plenty of time to prepare and you can ask for extra support if you need it.
The culture interview
We’ll ask you a few questions relating to our company values and culture, and we’ll introduce you to some of the wider team. This stage of the process is really just a chance for us to confirm that you’re a good fit for our company culture and team (and if you made it this far, then there’s a good chance we already think you are!)
If you make it this far - congrats! We’d love you to be part of the Growth Tribe team. At this stage, we’ll already have a good idea of what you could bring to the team so we’ll make you a fair and market-competitive offer. If you accept the offer, we’ll tell you more about what to expect on your first day with us and how our onboarding process works.
